Sanjay
As I know him ( Bench mate of Avinash & Sanjeev ? )

My association with Sanjay after school was quite less except meeting at SBI when Dhananjay was working at same branch. Got in touch more after our 2001 get together. He believes in true friendship & is straightforward person
I have no doubt he must have travelled a lot (as pointed by kaka). Just utter Vaishnav Devi His immediate response would be – चलो कब चलते –
He is real foodie like Milind – relishes snacks Chat veg – non veg – Saoji & what not – drinks 🍷 too 😀 in good company- not even by mistake with me
He is lucky to have Sangita as life partner. More than excellent cook she & Sanjay too are good host – दिलसे खिलाते है और खातिरदारीभी. Sanjay let her start cloud kitchen- I will be the first client & Ambassador too – हमें घरबैठे टेस्टी dishes मिलेंगी. Don’t deprive us 🙏
I wish you long & healthy life. Stay safe 🍒🍷🍻
PS : Came to know about their love marriage last week only – heard love birds since school days छुपा रूस्तम. *Who else is there of our tribe *

Yes Ashu, as mentioned by you Sanjay, myself and Sanjeev Valunjkar were bench mates. But more than a bench mate, Sanjay and myself were very close friends. We used to visit each other’s home very often and know each other’s families very well. After matriculation, although we were in different collages, we used to meet almost daily in Sitabuldi. Our common meeting point was hotel Anand Bhuvan, opp. Hotel Jagat. We had many common friends from VRCE, not from our school but from Patwardhan H. S. Our friendship grew even stronger on his appointment in SBI and posted to the same branch where I was working. After few years, I got promoted and transferred out of Nagpur. Sanjay didn’t opt for promotion due to some family compulsions. Therefore, frequency of our meetings was reduced but our bonding continued to be strong.
As rightly mentioned by Shrinivas and Ashutosh, Sanjay is very kind-hearted, sensitive and believes in true friendship. He is always ready to help his friends and relatives. He is very fond of good clothes, good friends, good places and of course good food. He is blessed with one daughter, Nupur, a software engineer and happily married to Dushyant, also a software engineer. His son Aakash is also employed with an IT company.
I wish him and his family a very happy, healthy and contented life !!!
Avinash Dani
Sanjay was my benchmate and very good schoolfriend. Sometimes we used to play kanche and khokho

during intetval and also used to share tiffin alongwith Avinash and while on class trips also to Navegaon bandh, Sewagram, Pawnar, Bordharan etc. He is always happy and smiling.
Best wishes to him and his family.
Sanjeev Valunjkar

Ashutosh
Ashutosh, I come to know from you Sanjays wife Sangeeta Ben is Gujarathi. Presently I am not fluent in it can only understand. However this reminds me of my early childhood,as I studied in Gujarthi medium in Rozary School Baroda in 1st std. I rember my neighnours used to ask for merriment Kagdo nu warta kahijo (Tell us story of crow),I used to promptly say Kagdo gayo bhoor. (Crow has flown away)at which they would become very happy and start laughing.
Subsequently as I got 1st rank in Gujarathi medium, the school gave me English medium as desired by my parents. To the best of my memory good quality Dhokla and Farsan were available in those days only in Gujarath, now it is available in Maharashtra also. I am grateful to Ashutosh because of him I remembered childhood days.

Myself and Sanjay were together from Primary to be precise (बालकमंदिर)
We were together till High school and thereafter parted our ways as I opted for Commerce stream whereas Sanjay went for science stream.
Both of us joined the bank in 80’s. After the marriage both of us used to have monthly family get-togethers as well as family outings. Sanjay and Sangita are really good host and Sangita is really a good cook.
I alongwith you all join in wishing both a long and healthy life and happy togetherness.
