हडस गोत्र अन पाद्धे कुलात जन्मलेल्या या मित्राचीशालेय शिक्षणाचि सुरुवात झाली अन पुढे त्याची ओळख झाली ती एका प्रसंगातुन 😇 एक वही वर्गात समोरिल बाका खाली पडली होती . त्यावर लिहले होते .,,.शरद नामे वदती तयाला , मधुकर नामे वदती पित्याला , कुल नाम त्याचे पाद्धे आहे , तो ह्या वहिचा मालक आहे 😀😀 खुप गंमत वाटली , म्हटले ओळख करुन घेऊ . तर अशी ओळख झाली . पुढे लक्षात आले आम्हा दोघानचे वडिल एकाच कार्यालयात काम करत शिवाय परिचयाचे . मग पुढे घनिश्ठता वाढत गेली . मी त्याच्या घरी ,त्या काळच्या तेलिपुरा गल्लीत सिताबर्डी भागात े. (नागपुरचा मध्य भाग ), शिवाय रेलवे स्टेशन जवळ , त्याचे घरातुन आगगाडी येता जातांना दिसत होती . आगगाडीची ऊतसुकता पुर्ण होत होती . शालेत अभ्यासा शिवाय हा गडी खेळात पण पुढे होता , खो खो पासुन सुरवात , शिवाय गल्ली क्रिकेट खेलता खेलता तो शालेय व महाविद्यालयिन आंतर स्पर्धा मधे भाग घेवू लागला . त्या काळी त्याची शारिरिक उंची जेमतेम होती. महाविद्यालयात त्याला खेळाचे मार्गदर्शक ताडासन हिरवळीवर करण्यास सांगू लागले व करुन घेतले , त्या कारणाने त्याची शारिरिक उंची वाढू लागली . ओघा ओघान खेलातली.

हा गडी माझ्या महाविद्यालयीन जीवनात सुद्धा सोबत होता.

G.S. Colleague Of commerce मधुन B.COM , M. COM झाला , CA IIB केल. आयूषात आपल्या सवंगडयाला खो दिल्या शिवाय स्वताहला अन सह पाठीला पुढे जाता येत नाही , हे या गडयाने शिकवले.😀

जेव्हा नोकरी करणे क्रम प्राप्त झाले तेव्हा त्या काळी चे सर्व सहपाठी यानी बैंक हेच जिवनास स्थर्य्र देऊ शकते हे ओळखले . इतपर परीकक्षा देवून नाशिक ( न शिकता द्राकक्षातुन पैसे कमवणारा वर्ग ) ह्या गावात पंजाब नेशनल बैंक मधे रुजु झाला. आता मात्र नाशिक शिकक्षणाचे केंद्र झाले आहे नविन पिढीचे आकर्षण केंद्र . शरद 1981-82 या कालात तेथे होता. नंतर नागपुरला स्थानानतरित झाला . 1987 मद्धे तो स्पोर्ट्स अकादमि चा प्रमुख झाला . पुढे शरद स्पेशल अस्सिस्तन्कट म्हणुन काम करू लागला .

या नंतर 3 जुलई 1988 SANJYOT (M.COM) याच्याशी विवाह बंधनात अडकला. त्यान्चे बैतुल या गावात माहेर . Sharad & Sanjyot were blessed with two SON , AMEYA (B.E.) Tata motors , Thane, Ameya married to Apoorva B. Tech ( interior designer ), Amey played inter school cricket. Mihir younger son did BSC ( Diploma in foreign trade ), working as channel Service manager(TUFROBES) in Thane . 😀😀😀😀

Sharad was organising inter bank sports . Was executive member for 14 Yrs, joint secretary for 6 Years at VCA under the leadership of Shri. Manohar sir . Also in charge of Recreation club VCA. He got retired from PNB in july 2019. 😀😀😀😀😀

Dear Sharad is one of my finest childhood friends. We used to live in sitabuldi area. We have lots of memories to cherish. We have a strong family relationship. I had a special bonding with his parents. He is very humble sincere and a kind hearted person who would always care for everlasting relationship. He is a dedicated cricket lover and has a great track record of VCA Nagpur. I wish him and his family a wonderful life ahead. 💐🙏

शरद पाध्ये…. Star of the week..

शरद चे नाव आले आणि शांत रहावले नाही….कारण ही तसेच आहे….मी हडसला बराच उशीरा प्रवेश घेतला..एका लहानशा गावातन अत्यंत नावाजलेल्या शाळेत प्रवेश मिळाला. थोडा संकुचितपणा निर्माण झाला होता…. त्यातल्या त्यात एकताटे प्रभाव.. त्यामुळे मी अनेकांच्या संपर्कात आलो नाही,ही वस्तुस्थिती नाकारता येत नाही.

परंतू काही सोबतीचा सहवास लाभला…त्यात प्रामुख्याने शरद,संजय, अविनाश,जयंत ,खामगांवकर, सोमवंशी,माणकीकर..व इतरांचा सुध्दा समावेश होतो.पण शरद नी मला खूप खूप मदत व धीर दिला…हे मी कधीच विसरू शकत नाही.त्यामुळे मी ११वी झालो ही वस्तुस्थिती नाकारता येत नाही.एका बेंचवर बसत होतो… शरद एखाद्या वेळी विसरू शकतो पण मी नाही.

शाळेत माझ्यावर अनेक आघात झाले.. केंव्हा तरी विषद करील.परंतू आशुतोष व अविनाश यांनी शोधून काढले व २००१ ला संपन्न झालेल्या १९७५ च्या बॅचच्या सम्मेलनात या प्राण्यांला हजर केले …. अनेकांनी प्रश्न उपस्थित केला मनात… हा प्राणी आपल्या सोबत होता?

अनेकांन सोबत शरद तुझे स्थान माझ्या मनात ठाण मांडून आहे…..त्यावर धूळ बसली होती……..आपली भेट होत नसेल किंवा झाली नाही…पण हे सत्य आहे. शरद काय लिहावे…बोलावे सूचत नाही….. परंतू तूझा आधार शाळेत मला तारून गेला. शरद तुझे हार्दिक अभिनंदन तुला व तुझ्या परिवाराला पुढील यशस्वी वाटचालीस हार्दिक शुभेच्छा व सदिच्छा🌹🌹 असाच लोभ व प्रेम असावे ही ईश्वरचरणी आशा व्यक्त करतो…धन्यवाद👏

अनिल, खुप छान लिहिलेस.

शरद बद्दल अणि तुझ्याबद्दल ही मी बर्‍यापैकी अनभिज्ञ होतो, का त्याला उत्तर नाही. कोणालाही, अगदी स्वतःलाही दोष द्यायची आवश्यकता नाही. तुझ्या विचारांनी आता सुधारायला हरक़त नाही हे मात्र लक्षात आले. तेंव्हा धन्यवाद. तुम्हा दोघांची मैत्री दीर्घायु हो वो हीच सदिच्छा.

विश्वास विद्वंस

शरद पाध्ये,

माझ्या अंधुकशा आठवणीत शरदला काही वेळेला तरी बत्ती मिळायची. पुढल्या बाकावर बसून खोडकरपणा करायचे धैर्य त्याच्यात होते. माझ्या मते तो मागेच जास्त शोभला असता पण उंचीच्या कारणाने पुढे अडकला असावा.

त्याचे त्यावेळचे व्यक्तिमत्त्व हे सगळ्यांपेक्षा वेगळे होते. त्याच्या चेहऱ्यावरचे भाव, डोळ्यावरचा चष्मा, किंचित पुढे आलेले दात यातून त्याचे वेगळेपण अगदी लक्षात राहणारे होते. हाच शरद मला शाळेनंतर कदाचित १०-१२ वर्षांनी भेटला. दहा बारा वर्षात त्याच्यात इतका फरक पडला होता की केवळ नावाने ओळखता आला. त्यानेही मला सांगितले की शाळेतून बाहेर पडल्यावर त्याच्यात इतका बदल झाला की मी त्याला चेहऱ्याने ओळखेन अशी त्यालाही अपेक्षा नव्हती. शरदची उंची वाढली होती, चेहऱ्यात झालेले बदल लक्षणीय होते. तो क्रिकेट खेळायला लागला होता आणि नुसते तेवढेच नाही तर खूप चांगले खेळायचा.

त्यानंतर त्याला मी परत भेटलो नाही. पण आता dp वर त्याचा फोटो पाहिला आणि परत जुना शरद त्यातून प्रकर्षाने डोकावला. या स्टार of the week ला माझ्याकडून खूप शुभेच्छा!

शरदला काही वेळेला तरी बत्ती मिळायची said Pramod, Oh yes I distinctly remember his facial expression & हात झटकण्याची action even now. With his passion for the Cricket & hard work he held a responsible position in VCA & did his best.

I have experienced bank officers appreciating him about his work & customer service. It speaks about his dedication towards work

Hi everyone in the group,

It was a pleasant surprise for me to be nominated as star of the week of the group comprising illustrious people in the group. During my school days yours truly was among the last 10 rankers in terms of academics, hence never thought of my turn will come so early. Thanks, Raju for nominating me as star of the week of this magnanimous group and further i would like to thank dear Ashu , who always took initiative in the get-togethers, forming whatsapp group of 1975 batch and keeping all these flocks together despite several difference of opinion on the varied subjects discussed in the forum.

Ashutosh has mentioned in his write-up something good about me. Let me tell you frankly, l had balanced my professional (Bank job)as well as my passion (Cricket) with great precision and retired from the bank with an unblemished service of about 38 years. Ashu has helped me a lot during those days by opening around 30-40 accounts (Minimum balnce of Rs 5000/- in each account)of his AIR staff, which gave me a good name in our bank. Thanks Ashu for the kind help.

मनुष्यात काही वैचित्र्य किंवा वैशिष्ट्य राहल्यास ती व्यक्ती दीर्घकाळ स्मरणात असते

Dear Pramod has described me aptly. (वैचित्रा मुळे) I used to do some mischief and very often punished for my misconduct . Especially, I cant forget Upgade sir, who gave me sound thrashing when I murmured बंड्या शिंकतोस काय मेल्या आणि Ektate सर तर हमखास बत्ती देतच असत.

Anyway, Pramod Thanks for the compliments and kind remembrance.

प्रिय अनिल, मला पण तुझ्या सोबत चा शाळेतला सहवास निश्चितच आठवतोय आणि तुझ्या सुंदर श्या लिखाणाने त्या गोष्टींना उजाळा मिळाला. मी मुख्यत्वे तुझ्या कबड्डी च्या खेळाने बराच इंप्रेस झालो होतो.तू खेळताना खाली बसून “स्लिप” मारून गडी आऊट करायचा ते मला छान प्रकारे आठवते. आणि 2000 मध्ये झालेल्या आपल्या get-together मध्ये तूझें गमतीदार भाषण मला चांगल्या प्रकारे आठवते. Dear Sanjay, was my companion since my primary days. Both of us were in the same primary school and later in Hadas, we were there till the 11th. Later, I opted for the commerce stream while Sanjay opted for Science. Since both of us joined the bank, we used to meet very often at Kingsway as our banks were located bang opposite. Thereafter, we used to have family meetings and are still meeting with family every fortnight. Thanks, Dear Sanjay for your compliments. Wish you all the best.

Dear Raju, We met almost after our get-together at Sai Mangal Karyalaya, Dhantoli in 2000. Prior to that you were frequent visitor to my house in Telipura, Sitabuldi (एकताटे सरांच्या भाषेत पाध्ये तेलीपुरा सोडून laxminagar भागांत या राहायला)

त्यानंतर, प्रशांतनगर, अंजनी च्या घरात ही तू येऊन गेलास. माझे देखील फटाके/धान्य घेण्याच्या निमित्ताने वर्षातून एकदा तरी तुझ्याकडे येणे होतच असे.

लग्नानतर मात्र पहिल्यादाच तू घरी आलास. मनसोक्त गप्पा झाल्यात. छान वाटले. तुझे जबरदस्त लिखाण वाचून मजा आली व कौतुक ही वाटले.असो, तुझ्या पुढील आयुष्यासाठी आणि उपक्रमासाठी शुभेच्छा

Nicely expressed your memories cum thanks giving / Vote of thanks ? in very simple language- in my words Gandhian way & not like Justice Krishna Iyer. Justice Iyer a great judge but one has to refer Dictionary often while reading his Judgements

Permit me to differ with you about your thoughts on your turn so early. Academics has nothing to do with it & that too at this stage of our life. It was good suggestion from Vishwas about nominating weekly Star by the current one. Thanks VMV 🙏

I remember we never got personally connected in school and I also don’t remember the thrashing you got, because I was never free to watch. (😟 Either next in line or had just finished)

After 1975, we met once near Mahajan Chawl where I was visiting my relative Rahul Joshi, who is much younger but lot of resemblance to you.

It was great to know about your achievements in life. Along with smooth professional life, you have established yourself in the company of real-life sports stars through your sincerity and hard work.

It is now our turn to declare शरद आमचा मित्र आहे.

९ते ११वी पैकी कुठल्यातरी वर्षी माझ्या मागच्या लायनित शरद, टील्या बसायचे आणि मी मागे वळून, आणि हे दोघे असे आम्ही तिघे हनुवटीला तर्जनी लावून खूप हसायचो. कारण काही आठवत नाही. पण एकदा सोनी सराचा मार खाल्लेला पण आठवतो. कबड्डी खेळात सर्व्हिस करतांना शरद एक पाय डोक्याच्याही वर उचलून धरायचा हे पण आठवतं. त्याच्या दुसऱ्या पाय पकडायचा मला अनावर इच्छा व्हायची. पण फारच जोरात अपटेल म्हणून मी स्वतःला आवर घालत असे.

उभडे सरांनी एकदा तू चांगला मुलगा आहेस पण काही व्रात्य मुलं तुला उच्कवतात म्हणून त्याची पाठ थोपटली तेंव्हा कसं गहिवरून आलं होतं. काही आठवणी उरल्या तर काही धूसर झाल्या.

Dear Sharad,

I distinctly remember that I have shared the same table in the class with you in 6 th and 7 th standard. It was a very pleasant time that we have played Sakhali , Khokho, kanche during the races. We have also eaten lunch together many times during the lunch time.

You were very fond of cricket and your leather ball and cork ball catching skills were very superb. This was evident during our school days. Due to your hard work and consistent efforts, you have earned expertise in cricket and achieved responsible position in VCA. After completing school we have never met but I will meet you very soon.

It was a pleasant surprise for me to receive your phone call recently and we had a nice chat which took me to remember our good childhood days spent in our school. I remember that day when you have said ‘Bandya shinktos may melya’ and Anil Upgade has just entered the class.

Your both sons are staying very near to my residence. If you happen to come to Thane then do visit my residence. I wish you all the very best to you and your family.

Dear Hitendra,

I do remember the episode but don’t remember the year. मी, टिल्या आणि धम्मा तिघे सोबत बसत असू. आणि सोनी सरानी दिलेला मार आठवतोय. कबड्डी बद्द्ल जे बोलला त्यात तथ्य असू शकते. आपल्या वर्गातील रावणंग, इंगोले आणि 10 B चा प्रफुल्ल कुलकर्णी हे जबरदस्त कबड्डी खेळत असत. उपगडे सरांचा किस्सा मी अगोदरच सांगितला आणि त्यांचे ते वाक्य सुद्धा. त्यावरून आणखी एक गोष्ट आठवली आपण 8 वित असताना मला चष्मा लागला, त्यावेळी जोशी मॅडम म्हणाल्या होत्या पाध्ये तू तसाच innocent वाटतो आणि चषम्यामुळे अजून च innocent वाटतो. Ofcourse it was not appreciation but sarcastic remark. Anyway , thanks for the write-up.

Dear Dhamma,

I don’t remember the class when we were bench mates, but certainly, we both along with Tillya were the bench mates. (I really appreciate some of our classmates who very much remember their benchmates class wise) We had some nice time in those days. Sports, be it is kho kho, kabaddi or Cricket, i really enjoyed. However, i must admit Cricket was my passion and enjoyed it as a player (As an amateur, played for Bank ) but more rewarding was as an Administrator as i was office bearer for almost 20 years in VCA as well as in BCCI for 5 years (2011-2016) as Media committee member (Courtsey , Mr Shashank Manohar Sir, past ICC Chairman, whom I owe a lot )

Anyway, thanks for revival of those wonderful childhood memories which all of us will cherish…
